Listen to a conversation between conservative author and commentator Russell Kirk and liberal social critic Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., recorded in the late 1970's. Arthur Schlesinger was scheduled to be interviewed for a local television station. When the host of the interview failed to show up at the TV studio, Russell Kirk agreed to fill in and conduct the interview...which ended up being more of a conversation between the two men. This recording, made available to us by the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal in Mecosta, Michigan, is being broadcast for the first time.
